Colorado State University has placed their head coach on temporary administrative leave, but could the change become permanent?

According to ESPN, men's basketball coach Larry Eustachy has been placed on administrative leave as the school looks into conduct that could be detrimental towards players, coaches, and staff.

Assistant coach Steve Barnes will lead the team heading forward.

While Eustachy's contract goes through the 2020-21 season, his future will hinge on the outcome of this investigation. Eustachy was also investigated back in 2013-2014 due to the same allegations that he currently faces.

Colorado State athletic director Joe Parker has stated that the school hopes to conclude the assessment quickly but diligently so all parties can move forward and focus on the rest of the 2017-2018 basketball season.
