Colorado State Patrol Searches for Weld County Hit-and-Run Suspect
The Colorado State Patrol is searching for the driver of a 1999 or 2000 purple Honda Accord who was likely involved in a hit-and-run accident along County Road 54 over the weekend that left a man dead.
A body was found in the 20000 block of County Road 54 in Weld County at 4:44 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The victim has not been identified by authorities, but he is believed to be a 21-year-old man.
According to 9News, a second car was involved in the accident. Authorities describe the vehicle as a 2009-2011 gray VW Golf GTI. The CSP believes the pedestrian was likely killed by the first car and then hit by the second car.
