Colorado Pharmaceutical Firm Testing Internal UV Light as Therapy

A pharmaceutical firm based out of Englewood, Colorado is testing the usage of UV light inside the body after President Trump suggested the technique as a treatment for COVID-19 in a press conference.

Yahoo News reports Englewood, Colorado-based Aytu BioScience took the press conference to heart — announcing it will test out a light-based therapy to treat COVID-19.

Aytu BioScience teamed up with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles to test the "Healight." They say the UV light would be inserted via catheter into the throat, emitting UV light through the body.
