A Popular Mexican Restaurant is Opening Another Colorado Location

On the northeast corner of Mountain Avenue and North 4th Street in Berthoud, Colorado sits a popular Mexican restaurant named Cocina & Cantina. The restaurant started by Ismael Ruiz and Alex Gonzalez opened in 2011 and has been serving up delicious Mexican food for over a decade. The Berthoud location has amassed over 1,000 reviews on Google in the past 12 years.

I have been to Cocina & Cantina in Berthoud many times over the past few years and I have to say, the food has always impressed me, and the margarita specials on Mondays are always a welcome way to close out the day.

Cocina & Cantina also has a second location in Loveland at 3151 North Garfield Avenue. Soon, there will be a third Cocina & Cantina location 30 Gateway Drive right next to Red Barn Liquor off Interstate 25 and Highway 60 in Johnstown. I am looking forward to this location opening as it is right down the road from my house.

The new location for Cocina & Cantina in Johnstown will offer the same great Mexican food served at both the Berthoud and Loveland locations. One of the best perks about the Johnstown location is that there will be a drive-thru and hungry commuters on the go will be able to get breakfast burritos, quesadillas, street tacos, and more from Cocina & Cantina without ever leaving their vehicles.
