With the 4th of July holiday coming up fast, the City of Greeley would like to remind everyone that there will be a few closures.

I'm not sure who doesn't look forward to the 4th of July. It's a time to plan all kinds of fun things with friends and family and those coming in from out of town for the Greeley Stampede and other events.

The City of Greeley and the Culture, Parks, and Recreation Department would also like to remind everyone that there will be several facilities that will be closed for the Independence holiday including The Meeker Home Museum (1324 9th Avenue) and the Greeley History Museums (714 8th Street) will be closed on July 4 but Centennial Village will be open at Island Grove and your admission to the Greeley Stampede will get you in. .

The Greeley Ice Haus (900 8th Avenue) will be closed June 26 through July 8 for their annual facility maintenance and to take down the ice.

The Rodarte Community Center (920 A Street) will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The Greeley Recreation Center (651 10th Avenue), the Family FunPlex (1501 65th Avenue) and the Greeley Senior Activity Center (1010 6th Street) will all be closed on July 4 as well.

The best part though is that the outdoor pools and splash parks will of course be open over the holiday weekend to take the bite out of the heat wave that will be here. For more information or questions please call 970-350-9400.
