CDOT to Begin Work on Highway 392 East of Windsor This Week
The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin a resurfacing and bridge rehab project on a 10-mile section of Highway 392, between Windsor and Lucerne tomorrow (Tuesday, June 30).
Work will include resurfacing the roadway, improving surface drainage and upgrading bridge rail and guardrail on five bridges.
Expect Delays
Motorists can expect single-lane closures and delays of up to 10 minutes Monday through Friday, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. No night or weekend work is currently anticipated. During working hours, a 10-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place through the work zone.
Don't Get a Ticket
The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph for both the safety of the traveling public as well as construction crews working along the highway. Fines will be doubled for speed violations through the construction zone.
When Will it be Done?
Work is expected to be completed by the end of October.
