The Cameron Peak and Mullen Fires grew once again over the last weekend. They are expected to be active again on Monday.

A red flag warning has been put in place as high winds expected on Monday (Oct. 5). Air quality advisory is in place in Northern Colorado and along the front range.

The Cameron Peak Fire is currently burning over 126,251 acres, according to the Monday official reports. Containment is up to 42%.

The Mullen Fire, meanwhile, is already larger than the Cameron Peak Fire. The Mullen Fire is currently burning over 151,711 acres with 14% containment.

Combined, the fires are burning over 277,962 acres.
