Build-Your-Own Mac and Cheese Restaurants are Coming to Colorado

A new company is bringing "build-your-own" macaroni and cheese restaurants to Denver, Boulder and Stapleton.

I Heart Mac & Cheese is a fast-casual restaurant that allows customers to customize their mac & cheese with everything from quinoa to lobster. The menu combines the creativity of award-winning recipes resulting in a grown-up approach to this classic childhood dish.

The company has partnered up with the plant based company "Beyond Meat" to offer a vegan menu as well.

They did not confirm any locations, only saying that the first restaurant will be opened in 2020.

Fort Collins was home to a "build-your-own" macaroni and cheese spot before it closed down.
