I'm a basic b. That's right. I drive a mom car while listening to PM Dawn, driving my kid to soccer practice. Being a certified basic b also means I love going to brunch.

I can sniff out the best brunch location in Northern Colorado. In my opinion, at least. Let's break it down by city.

Fort Collins

Brunch and Fort Collins go hand in hand. All you have to do is take a trip to Old Town for a ton of options. Here are some of my FOCO favs.

  • Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, definitely wins for the longest name of a restaurant, but they also win when brunch time comes around. Snooze also sells some pretty legit breakfast tacos. They also have a full bar.
  • Ginger and Baker Cafe is my favorite brunch spot. The food is amazing, you have to try the freshly baked biscuits and homemade jam. My favorite drink? Espresso Martinin (again with the whole bad b thing.

Loveland

  • Taste Local is located in Loveland, off Cleveland Ave., and offers fresh, locally sourced ingredients for both savory and sweet breakfast options. They also have a full bar.
  • Epic Egg Loveland sells a variety of eggs, including omelets and scrambled eggs. And they also have a bar.

Greeley

  • Oak and Maple, off of 8th Avenue in Greeley, is known for their creative waffle dishes, sweet and hearty. This place is great for kids, and they have a full bar.
  • Out of the Blue can be found in Greeley at Center Place Drive. I like this brunch spot because, in addition to their food menu, they also specialize in creative coffee options.
