Colorado State alum and Denver Broncos offensive lineman Ty Sambrailo has been ruled out for the remainder of the season as it was announced today that he'll need surgery on his injured left shoulder.

Sambrailo injured the shoulder in a game against Detroit in September, but was hoping to return to the team after some time for healing. He returned to practice last week but was ruled ineligible for the Green Bay game.

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak made the announcement in today's press conference and said that doctors determined that the injury wouldn't get better without surgery.

In Sambrailo's absence, Ryan Harris has played left tackle in his place.

Denver moved to 7-0 on the season after a 29-10 defeat of the Packers on Sunday.
