New Colorado Brewery Reduces Staff and Production After Just One Month
I am a big fan of the newest brewery in Fort Collins. Breckenridge Brewery opened their third Colorado location in August 2024. Every time I have been to the new Breckenridge Brewery location on East Lincoln Avenue it has plenty of customers.
Breckenridge Brewery is much more busy than Sweetwater Brewing, which was in the same location until July 2024.
A month into opening their new location, there are changes coming to Breckenridge Brewery in Fort Collins.
Fort Collins Brewery's Production
The Coloradoan reports that there will be less production at the Fort Collins location for Breckenridge Brewery.
The location will still brew beer but will focus on small-batch brews rather than their well-known large-batch beers like Avalanche Amber Ale and their famous Vanilla Porter.
Their tap room will remain the same, but the building will produce less beer that will be sent across the state and nation.
Breckenridge Brewery Staff
The Coloradoan talked to an employee who was informed they were being laid off due to the production changes. Since there is less production, you may assume that even more employees will be laid off.
Fort Collins Residents React
Many Fort Collins residents have been joking that the brewery's location on East Lincoln is cursed due to many businesses coming and going.

However, I'd like to say that Breckenridge Brewing has consistently been busy whenever I have paid them a visit. I do not believe they are going anywhere anytime soon.
