Boulder Woman Steals Duckling From Pond

A woman in Boulder was cited for failing to protect wildlife when she attempted to steal a duckling from a pond.

The unnamed 31-year-old woman jumped into the Evert Pierson Kids Fishing Pond located off of Ninth Street and Canyon Boulevard, grabbed a duckling and put it in her backpack. Boulder Police returned the duckling to its mother unharmed.
