After a two-hour investigation, they concluded that the coast was clear.
Inside the package was a pressure cooker, hazardous chemicals, and other typical items that be found inside of a home.
About the Package Dropped Off in Berthoud
The 78-year-old woman who dropped off the package thought she was doing the right thing. The woman dropped off the hazardous materials at the Berthoud Fire Protection District building. However, it was the wrong place.
If you have hazardous waste, you can drop it off at the Larimer County Recycling Center in Fort Collins.
