Does Mexican Food in Colorado Suck? Viral Sign Ignites Outrage

There are plenty of amazing food options in Colorado. That is something that I love about this great state. No matter what kind of craving you have, there is a solution for it in Colorado.

Certain regions in the country have specialty foods. For example, I believe that nobody has better steaks and burgers in the country than Colorado and our neighbors to the north.

I also believe that the Pacific Northwest has the best seafood in the country. Are Mexican and Spanish dishes in Colorado good in comparison to the rest of the nation? I believe so. However, one viral sign thinks otherwise.

The Colorado Rockies were playing against the San Diego Padres in California and a fan held up a sign that said 'Colorado has BAD Mexican food'.

The sign has gone viral on multiple social media pages and outlets.

I laughed when I saw this on Instagram. I am not the type of person to get offended easily. I know that Colorado has great Mexican food and I do not need to convince anybody otherwise. However, many social media users started arguing in the comments.

And oh boy, I grabbed my popcorn and watched people argue with each other.

Some commenters agreed. One user specifically said that he moved to Colorado from California and it does not compare.

Other commenters took offense. They are proud of Colorado family-owned restaurants and they found the sign completely ridiculous and out-of-line.
