
Colorado City Ranked Among Worst Drivers in America
Does it seem like it feels harder and harder to drive in Colorado these days? To me, it does, and I cannot be the only one who thinks that. I feel like I have to be super aware of my surroundings and other drivers every single day when I drive to work.

The craziest part is that I mainly take county roads to work every day. I am not driving in a major metro area like Denver either. Consumer Affairs recently put out a list of cities that have the worst drivers in the United States, and one Colorado city made the list.
Aurora, Colorado, is Named One of the Worst for Driving
We're not talking about being ranked in the middle; this Colorado city was fourth on the list for the worst drivers in America. Aurora, Colorado, made the list for the first time as a city with the worst drivers.

Ranking at 53rd in 2023 and 4th in 2024, Aurora, Colorado, jumps 60 spots in a year to fourth place. One of the biggest factors is the high rate of fatal crashes that have involved fatalities.

What's more, Aurora has ranked even worse in vehicle-related fatalities, with alcohol being a factor. Aurora, Colorado, ranked seventh nationwide for fatalities related to driving under the influence at 5.38 deaths per 100,000 and second worst for fatalities involving positive blood alcohol content readings at 7.43 deaths per 100,000 residents.
Only Three U.S. Cities Rank Worse Than Aurora
