Coroner’s Office Identifies Most Recent Loveland Shooting Victim
One man was shot and killed and another man was arrested yesterday after a shooting just north of the Loveland city limits. The incident happened at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday near East 57th Street and Thomas Court. The Larimer County Sheriff's Department said in a press release, "It is clear that this case has no relationship to the recent shootings already under investigation in Northern Colorado."
The release stated, 36-year-old Eric David Gray of Loveland is being held at the Larimer County Jail for investigation of First Degree Murder.
According to the Larimer County Coroner's Office, the man who was shot and killed Saturday was 75-year-old Loveland resident Gerald Donovan. He apparently suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and died at the scene.
