Coloradans have been asking for a new option when it comes to grocery stores for years. Soon, there will be another grocer to choose from in the state of Colorado.

ALDI Confirms Entry Into Colorado

Accordingto a press release, ALDI will open over 180 new grocery stores in 31 states, and Colorado is one of them. ALDI isn't just opening one or two stores; that would be too basic. Instead, ALDI says that it will enter the Colorado market, hitting the ground running with a whopping 50 stores.

The plan for ALDI's debut in the state of Colorado will take place over the course of five years, with more than 50 stores in the Denver Metro and Colorado Springs area. ALDI will also support the new grocery stores with an accompanying ALDI Distribution Center in Aurora, Colorado, with a projected opening date in 2029.

How Big ALDI Is in the United States

ALDI has been operating in the United States for 50 years, and with the increased expansion into numerous states, the number of ALDI stores in the nation will be approximately 2,800 stores by the end of 2026, with a goal of 3,200 by the end of 2028.
