Alabama To Hit The Road For 2022 Tour With Stop In Denver

One of the most famous bands in the history of country music is gearing up to hit the road for a brand new tour with stops nationwide, including one right here in Colorado.

This August, Alabama (the band) will kick off their 2022 tour in their native state of Alabama during one of country music's largest music festivals, Rock The South on Friday, August 5.

From there, the band is set to play over a dozen shows through mid-December.

The famous country band will be bringing their new 2022 tour to Colorado on Friday, September 23; the show will take place at Ball Arena in Denver.

Alabama's Denver, CO show will feature special guest and fellow country artist, Jamey Johnson, according to the band's official website. 

How + When To Purchase Tickets For Alabama's Colorado Show

The first wave of tickets for Alabama's show this September at Ball Arena will be on sale beginning Wednesday, July 20 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. At this time, members of Alabama's Fan Club will have special access to purchase concert tickets.

Presale tickets will be on sale through Thursday, July 21; tickets to see Alabama in Denver, CO go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. local time.

About Alabama

As teenagers, Cook, Gentry, and Owen, all born in Fort Payne, Alabama, formed a band called Wildcountry. The trio quit their day jobs in 1973, concocted their own potent blend of southern rock and country-pop, and began working show dates across the South. They particularly were favorites at the Bowery in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Wildcountry then became Alabama in 1977; two years after that Cook, Gentry, and Owen hired rock & roll drummer Mark Herndon on a permanent basis - and the rest is history.

Between 1980 and 1993, Alabama took more than thirty records to the top of the Billboard country chart and sold millions of albums, substantially broadening country music’s audience and making themselves one of American music’s most popular acts of all time.
