
Massive Airbus A380 Returning to Denver Next Summer
There is something about flying that always gets me excited. I feel like it's almost magic how someone can get into a tube and be transported halfway across the world in a matter of hours.

Over the years, I have been on all sorts of planes in different sizes. I have also gotten the opportunity to be able to fly business class, thanks to credit card points. However, there is still one major item on my air travel bucket list.
Lufthansa’s Airbus A380 Comes to Denver
Flying on the largest passenger aircraft in the world. One of these days, it is going to happen, mark my words. This year, Lufthansa brought the Airbus A380 to Denver International Airport for seasonal flights.
Last month, the Airbus A380 made its last flight into Denver International Airport from Munich, Germany, on October 24, 2025. But, there was no definitive answer as to whether or not the gigantic airplane would return for another year.

On October 28, Lufthansa announced that the massive double-decker aircraft would be making a return for flights from Denver to Munich in 2026. The popularity of the Airbus A380 has contributed to the increase in international travel through Denver International Airport in 2025 by six percent through September.
Bringing a larger aircraft with greater capacity to this market, which has exponentially increased in popularity over the years, just made sense for the summer season. We remain committed to Denver and are excited that Lufthansa’s A380 will once again fly to the Mile High City in 2026.

When will flights resume for the A380 in Denver?
Flights to and from Munich to the Denver International Airport on the Airbus A380 will resume on Lufthansa Airlines once again starting on June 9, 2026.
