Experts Say 23% of Colorado Jobs Could Be Eliminated Because Of One Thing
Technological advances are part of life. Technology continues to improve so our lives get easier. That's the main point, right?
Colorado embraces technology more than most states, but embracing technology too quickly could hurt us.
Jobs Could Be Quickly Eliminated in Colorado
I am a big advocate for new technology. I would perhaps say that I am a bit of a nerd when there is a new gadget, innovation, or major software update. I am the type of person who gets excited to try new digital tools.
I use artificial intelligence nearly every day. I rely on it for quick grammatical checks for emails, to calculate math, and for dinner recipes. I have saved a lot of time in the past year when artificial intelligence became normalized.
However, innovative technology poses a risk for job security. Our lives become easier, but if some of our tasks can easily be automated, it is a quick conclusion that people may lose their jobs. Unfortunately, we have some data that will back that up.
What Experts Say About Colorado And Future Job Loss
Colorado jobs are at the highest risk due to artificial intelligence, according to new research by Centus. Centus looked at data from the Pew Research Center and concluded that industries in Colorado will be the most affected by artificial intelligence compared to those in other states.
They predict that 942,026 Colorado workers will be greatly impacted by the use of artificial intelligence.
That is 23.04% of all workers in Colorado.
