Colorado Spirit, the Weld County Flood Recovery Outreach Team, is hosting an Agricultural Flood Forum on Wednesday for those farmers and ranchers in Weld County affected by the September 2013 Flooding .

Experts from Weld Farm Services Agency, West Greeley Conservation District, Weld County Public Works Department, CSU Extension and Weld Recovers (the long term recovery group in Weld County).  They will be addressing such topics as debris removal and land reclamation, planting issues, fence repairs, flood mitigation and water quality, weeds, and any other ag related topic of interest as a result of the flood.

 

WHEN & WHERE

The forum will be held on Wednesday, February 5th with two identical sessions, one from 10:00 a.m. – Noon and the other from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Kersey Fire Department Training Room, 27128 CR 53.
