I don't want to make it a thing, but the '90s were the best. Just fabulous. Sometimes when I think back on the 90s, I get sad, but then I get happy because I can't help but think of the cool Northern Colorado teenage hang spots I used to haunt.

The Candy Jar

Wow, this one isn't cool at all. But it was a definite teenage hangout spot in the 90s. Now I buy candy at the gas station and eat it in my car while crying. Not as radical.

Jolly Time Arcade

Did I even have any friends in the 90s? As I write this list, I can't help but feel like a nerd. So far, my list has a candy shop and an arcade. But Jolly Times Arcade was where the cool kids hung out. And kids who ate their boogers.

The Mall Food Court

It doesn't even matter what restaurants were in the food court because you were there for the vibe, and maybe an Orange Julius.

Radio Shack

This is where you went to check out the newest tech, like extension cords. Omg I'm a nerd.

Spencer Gifts

I used to love this store because it had a wide assortment of puzzles and mystical dragon sculptures. Wait...dang it. I was a nerd.

Mervyns

This might be the lamest store on the list, but I don't really care because I went there with my grandma, and she was cool.

There were cool spots to hang out in the 90s, whether in Fort Collins, Loveland, or Greeley; some are still here, but others are long gone.

So I guess what we learned today is that I used to go to the mall with my grandma because I didn't have any friends.
