Transferring from Front Range Community College to Colorado State University just got easier.

A new $4.28 million-dollar grant from the National Science Foundation is meant to help Northern Colorado students take their associate's degree to the bachelor’s level, according to a CSU press release.

The new program called “Wolves to Rams” (W2R) will provide support for about 150 transfer students, aid them in furthering their education and assist in finding jobs in science, technology, engineering and math fields.

W2R’s overall objective is to increase involvement in the STEM categories for low-income, first-generation and underrepresented students in these categories.

The majority of the grant will fund scholarships to Front Range students upon their transfer to CSU.
