Spc. Brian K. Arsenault - Age 28 from Northborough, Massachusetts. Killed In Action on 4 September 2014 in Ghazni, Afghanistan from injuries sustained by enemy small-arms fire. Spc. Brian K. Arsenault was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Sgt. Charles C. Strong - Age 28 from Suffolk, Virginia. Killed In Actin on 15 September 2014 in Herat province, Afghanistan while conducting combat operations. Sgt. Charles C. Strong was assigned to 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Maj. Michael J. Donahue - Age 41, of Columbus, Ohio. Killed In Action 16 September 2014. Maj. Michael J. Donahue was assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Also killed was civilian Stephen Byus, 39, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio who was a member of the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime in Columbus, Ohio, working as a supply specialist, and assigned to the Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan while deployed.
