There is another winter storm headed our way tonight into this weekend, and it's expected to bring 4 to 7 inches of snow to the Northern Colorado area along with temperatures dipping back down into the high 20's. Unlike with the last storm, there have been no watches or warnings issued as of this afternoon. The weather men might be playing it safe this time after talking up the storm a few weeks back that was supposed to be the biggest of the season and brought no snow! Here's a look at the weekend forecast for our area:

As the storm rolls in tonight, we'll keep you up to date on any changes in the forecast and if you're headed out, make sure to take a look at our road conditions page showing the webcams on all routes in and around Northern Colorado courtesy of CDOT.

Hopefully this storm is not a repeat as water restrictions have already been announced for certain areas this Summer and SNOTEL sites in the mountains show a very low snowpack from the lack of snow this Winter.
