Who Died For Your Freedom Recently? [VIDEO]

Many people post something in support of our military on a daily basis on their FB pages or blogs. But when a soldier pays the ultimate price and lays down his life protecting the freedom of our great country it goes largely unnoticed and that is about to change with me.  Each week I am going to post the names of those “who gave all” so we can remember them.  Every name has a link you can click to put a face to the name!  Let’s keep the hope that someday there will be no more names to report.

Week 9 - 2/27 TO 3/4

Marine Cpl. Conner T. Lowry - Died March 1, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom.  Age 24, of Chicago, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; died March 1 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

Army Pfc. Payton A. Jones - Died March 1, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 19, of Marble Falls, Texas, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died of wounds caused by small-arms fire March 1 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan. Also killed in the incident was Staff Sgt. Jordan L. Bear.

Army Staff Sgt. Jordan L. Bear - Died March 1, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom25, of Denver, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died March 1 of wounds caused by small-arms fire in Kandahar province, Afghanistan. Also killed in the incident was Pfc. Payton A. Jones.

Army Staff Sgt. Jesse J. Grindey - Died March 12, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom30, of Hazel Green, Wis.; assigned to 287th Military Police Company, 97th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Riley, Kan.; died March 12 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of unspecified causes.

Army Spc. Daquane D. Rivers - Died March 14, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom21, of Marianna, Fla., assigned to 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 172nd Infantry Brigade, Grafenwoehr, Germany; died March 14 in Paktika province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained in a non-combat incident.

Army 2nd Lt. Clovis T. Ray - Died March 15, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 34, of San Antonio, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died March 15 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of injuries caused by an improvised explosive device.

Week 12 - 3/19 to 3/25

Army Capt. Aaron D. Istre - Died March 24, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 37, of Vinton, La., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Fort Hood, Texas; died March 24 in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Army Sgt. Daniel J. Brown - Died March 24, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom27, of Jerome, Idaho, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died March 24 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device.
