Sometime when we walk into a classroom to make a Teacher Tuesday Presentation, we know immediately that we have made the right choice. That was the case yesterday when Brian and I presented the award to Mrs. Debbie Bangs, a 1st/2nd Grade Teacher at University Schools in Greeley.

Mrs. Bangs was nominated by students Kate Harvey, Rhianon Hampton, and Max Fortner.  It was quite obvious that the kids in the class loved her and she loved teaching them. We got several hugs before we left and Mrs. Bangs admitted to me in a thank you e-mail that she started crying after we left her classroom. It was very touching.

Time is running out to nominate your favorite teacher.  We have just 2 more weeks until we break for summer. If your teacher is chosen as K99′s Teacher Tuesday,  they will win a $50 Gift Certificate to The Melting Pot or Rodizio Grill,  a video of the presentation from Drew Bankston at Star Painter Productions, a 5-pack of CD’s, and a Teacher Tuesday Award Certificate from K99. Listen to K99 every Tuesday to find who the K99 Teacher Tuesday of the week is!
