1. As a stay at home Mom, she still needed a live in maid, Alice.

Yes, looking after 6 kids and a husband is a daunting task, but in all seasons of the praised family show, I think I saw Carol make dinner for her family once. I know it was the 60's, but come one Carol, pitch in on making the meatloaf!
