Keeping Dreams Alive 2010

Every Year Realities for Children holds its annual banquet to honor those wonderful people who help out kids who have been abused and neglected in our community.  This year's event also features "Keeping Dreams Alive", which grants the dreams of children who are served by the Larimer County Child Protection Services System.  I have the honor of co-hosting the event with Realities founder Craig Secher. I hosted a couple years ago and learned you need to bring Kleenex for this event.

Last year there was a little guy that wanted to go to a Rockies game. He got to do that and meet some of the players.  Another girl wanted to go to cheerleader camp.  Her dream was presented to her by the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. One of my favorites was a young lady that wants to be an artist some day.  Her art work was featured on a mug that was sold at last year's event.  It was truly a wonderful evening and will be again on Friday night.

The public is invited to purchase tickets. I would highly recommend it.
