My how the time flys!  18 years...where did it go?  It seems like a blink of an eye today as I think about my first born turning 18 today.   As new parents we always wonder what our children will be like when they grow up.  I remember friends and family telling me 18 years ago to never wish for them to grow up too fast and now I know why.  In a blink of an eye...

My daughter is my hero for many many reasons most of which I will not bore you with today but most don't know my daughter started life as my hero. At 2 weeks old she was in Children's Hospital and the next several years were filled with life lessons that she taught us all.  My daughter made me into the man you see today and without her strength, determination, will, charm and caring personality I would not be who I am.

I can never repay her for that.

She is my hero for many many reasons and the complete opposite of me at the same age...which I am eternally grateful.

Don't get me wrong, I love my kids all the same.  If your a parent you get it.  When your first born comes along you wonder how you could ever love anything as much as you do her/him but when the 2nd and 3rd come along...you get it.  You fall in love all over again.

Every parent wishes and hope their children will do well in life and much better than them and I know my daughter will become anything she wants and she will be the best at it.   The whole world is at your fingertips Taylor, seize your opportunities and take no prisoners.  I Love You!

I am not afraid to admit that the last two days I have had tears streaming down my face, just an emotional mess to be honest, as I went through a bunch of old pics of the kids and found a few of my favorites from Taylor's early years. So I wanted to share a few since so many of you have grown up with her by hearing all the stories I have told over the last 14 years here on K99 and thought many of you would appreciate them as much as I do.
