Today is Our Day, It’s National Disc Jockey Day

Today is National Disc Jockey Day! I didn't even know we had a day. What are you getting us? I don't know the proper way to celebrate but I know that I am the luckiest guy in the world to have this job. I love what I do and it is what I always wanted to do.

When I was a child I would sit with the cassette recorder and pretend I was interviewing celebrities. I dreamed of this job when I was a kid and here I am living my dream. I get to play great music. I get to try to be funny on the radio and I get to spend my mornings with you, Todd and Susan. I couldn't have picked a better career. I am so lucky to get to work with the best at what they do. It is an honor to get to do this every day. I am so grateful to my radio guru Bob Beck from Mandan, North Dakota for giving me my first shot at Y93 in Bismarck years ago and teaching me about this business. If it weren't for Bob I would have never found this wonderful career.
