Getting woke up in the morning when you would rather still be sleeping can be a very unpleasant thing. Every morning when my alarm clock goes off the first thing I do is swear. I am glad there is no film crew there because every single morning would get an 'R' rating due to adult language and sometimes violence if there is something near to throw.

For about 30 years now I have been waking up to the same alarm clock. When my wife and I first got married we got a fancy duel alarm clock. It was quite a deal back then to have an alarm clock with two alarms on it. We were on the fast track of technology with that bad boy. Here it is 30 years later and that thing still works and wakes me every day. It has faded from a pearl white to an old underwear yellow but it still does it's job. I am one who uses something until it falls apart. I think it still has a few years left in it.

These days people use their phone alarm to wake them or have some fancy bird noise making machine but I am sticking with my faded alarm clock. When I was a kid, dad used to just come in and turn on the light in my room to wake me but this has done the trick since dad quit showing up every morning. Do you still use an old alarm clock?
