If you're like me, you're already making those Spring and Summer vacation plans. A good vacation spot, believe it or not, is the Western Slope.

We are lucky to live in one of the most beautiful states in the country.  It's ironic that when we live somewhere, we rarely see all that is offered right around us.  The Western Slope is one of those places that many don't think has much happening. Actually, there is a lot to do.  From some of the best wineries around to world class biking, fishing along the Grand Mesa and nothing but good clean air.

Lots to do:

  • Rifle Falls State Park
  • Fishing at Bull Creek and Bull Basin
  • Hiking
  • Biking the Tabeguache and Kokopelli trails
  • Book Cliffs
  • Colorado National Monument
  • COUNTRY JAM 2014

Speaking of Country Jam 2014, you might consider planning some vacation time around Grand Junction in June when one of the biggest country music festivals kicks off.  Even better, and keep this to yourself, we are in the midst of flying a lucky winner and their guest to Grand Junction this June...all expenses paid. If you win, you get airfare for two, 4 nights hotel accommodations, 2 four-day passes to Country Jam 2014 and we'll even stuff $500 in your pocket and if that's not enough, how about a couple passes to meet Jerrod Niemann.
