I need to thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts. When my kitty disappeared after being attacked by a dog, you were there offering your support and my family and I certainly could feel it. I am happy to report that my kitty Karai came home yesterday.

Monday she was laying in the flower bed out front of the house, her favorite sunning place, when a runaway Boxer dog got a hold of her 3 times. I knew she was injured when she disappeared and feared that she had laid down somewhere and died. I was keeping hope but really thought she was gone.

I not only was losing my cat but was losing my wife too. That cat is her best friend in the world and she literally had a broken heart. I was just in pain watching and feeling her sadness. She would spend the night in the front yard or in the garage with the door open and holding the kitty's blanket while calling her name in hopes she would come. It was horrible to see her so broken. Yesterday as I was getting on my motorcycle to head to work, I could feel a presence outside my home. I couldn't see anything but swore I could feel her near. I left for work just thinking I was just being foolishly hopeful.

Later that morning Kyla went outside to do her ritual of having coffee in the garage and calling for Karai. She hollered her name and then saw a little familiar face under the truck. She placed her hand under the truck and a little furry face started rubbing on her hand. She broke into tears of joy. The kitty was home! She scooped her up in her loving arms and brought her into home. Karai is sore and cannot jump up or down yet but will visit the vet this morning. There is joy in my home once again. Thank you so much for all you kind thoughts, prayers and positive vibes...they work.
