You know that old saying "March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers"? Well it's technically not March yet thanks to Leap Day, but you will be feeling the winds today in Northern Colorado and the rest of the week if you have not already.

According to the site, WeatherDB, the windiest in Colorado is Spring and we are swiftly waltzing our way into that month in less than 24 hours. Here's what you can expect over the next few days...

Today - 7 to 12 mph winds increasing to 15 to 20 mph this afternoon and evening with gusts up to 29 mph

Tomorrow - The wind should be a bit lighter tomorrow 6 mph. I am no expert, but that sounds like the perfect wind for a nice kite flying session!

Then again on Wednesday, the wind picks back up again to 6 to 11 mph and kicking up in the afternoon to 18 to 23 mph and gusts could be as high as 33 mph. So if you are like me and have a tendency to have bad balance in the wind, be careful and prepared for Wednesday afternoon!
