Can you remember all your phone numbers you had growing up? I can. I even remember numbers of old friends from high school. We used have to know everyone's phone number, that is a lost art. No one knows anyone's number anymore yet alone their own. Do you know your friends numbers or they listed under Dave, Charley or Tina?

Believe it or not there will come a time when your phone dies on you. How would you call someone if you needed to? You walk up to pay phone and freeze because you don't know how to call anyone. A great example of this was the other morning when the lady knocked on my door at 3 am looking for help and had a dead cell phone. We could not find anyone to call for her because she didn't know anyone's number. What if you are in an emergency situation and had no phone? Could you call anyone? We need to start remembering phone numbers again. You may need them sometime. Quit relying on your phone to know everything and start using part of your brain again. The smart thing to do is to at least keep a list of important numbers like friends and family and doctors and keep them in your wallet or purse. Make sure you are prepared in case you do not have access to your phone. You never know when you may need it.
