Need some help figuring out what to serve a houseful of guests for breakfast or brunch? Try the omelette in a bag bar. It is perfect for holidays or any kind of family gathering. Trying to cook a breakfast for a big group can be a bit of task but with the omelette in a bag bar you put the work into the guests hands.

We did this on Sunday morning after Easter service at church. We fill a bunch of bowls with omelette fixings like bacon, sausage, ham, onions, mushrooms, peppers and cheese. We put out a carton of eggs and box of baggies and got a big pot of water boiling on the stove.

Each person takes a baggie and writes their name on it. In the bag you break open 2 eggs and then add in a scoop of whatever you want in your omelette. You then mash it all together in the baggie, squeeze the air out, seal it and drop it in the water for 12-15 minutes. You just pull out the baggie when the time is up and dump it out on a plate and you have a perfect little omelette. It is very easy because everyone makes it just the way they like it and clean up is a breeze. Try this next time you have a houseful.
