The Documentary “Horse Sense” Airs in Fort Collins in April

We horse owners in northern Colorado are so are fortunate to have the best possible treatments available at CSU’s Vet Teaching Hospital.They saved my mare Lily with colic surgery, saved my newborn colt who couldn’t nurse off his mother, and have helped me part with several horses who just couldn’t go on any longer. Governor Hickenlooper narrates this documentary exploring the world of equine health at Colorado State University. We can see it twice next month on the campus. The film made its theater debut at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science last month. The privately funded film is a joint project of Colorado State University and Chapman
University in California.

2013 Greeley Stampede Demolition Derby Gears Up July 7th
The Greeley Stampede is coming up, and you know what that means. Corndogs, cowboy hats, concerts, and cars. One of the best parts of the 10-day festival is the demolition derby. Hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drivers will partake in the destructive chaos. This year's demolition derby will take place on July 7th at 2:00 PM, and tickets cost $20-25.
