The edge of Red Fox Meadow Natural Area February 2015

Thankfully, most of us survived Snowmadgeddon of February 2015. At our house in Fort Collins, we only got about 6 1/2 inches of measurable snow by Sunday night. That fell short of most of the predictions for my city, which were calling for up to 14 inches of snow.

They were saying at least a foot of snow in most parts of Northern Colorado. Some of you may have gotten that. If you hate snow, I'm sorry. If you love snow, enjoy it. That's what my wife and I did.

We built a fire Saturday night and watched movies. On Sunday Morning. We got outside and took a walk to Red Fox Meadows Natural Area in West Fort Collins.  I took some pictures of the aftermath of our 1st big snowstorm of the year. I hope you enjoy them.

We also got a little blizzard on Saturday, with the snow blowing sideways in the rural areas of Larimer and Weld County. We encountered that on a trip to Ault Saturday afternoon. Check out this YouTube video, which includes fresh goose droppings on the window.
