A 15-year-old is now facing charges after Larimer County sheriff’s deputies had to be called to the Waverly School north of Fort Collins yesterday morning.

Deputies were dispatched to the Waverly School just before noon on a report of a disruptive student. The teenager was reportedly breaking things and being disorderly at the school. He also had a lighter in his possession and was near flammable liquids inside the school.

The Wellington Fire Department was called to the scene and 17 other students at the school were put on lockdown but were later evacuated. The teen suspect was taken into custody and now faces charges.
