It's always fun to see country music artists all gussied up in their best, and the red carpet at the 2013 American Music Awards was no exception, with our favorite stars putting their best fashion foot forward. These five artists were just a few of those who best represented the genre on Nov. 24.

As a Grammy Award-winning songstress, Taylor Swift is recognizable to millions of people. But sometimes, it gets a little confusing -- the singer was recently named next of kin to someone she's never even met.

Taylor Swift is a highly public person who lives a very private life. Because of her fierce determination to shield much of her personal life, she explains that the only time fans get the real truth is in her albums.

It was completely unexpected for me. My favorite performance at the CMA Awards this year was Taylor Swift‘s  ‘Red’ with Vince Gill and Alison Krauss. The crowd gave her a standing ovation and it was well-deserved.  That performance is now available on iTunes. You can download it for $1.29.

Taylor Swift is known for her impressive stockpile of basically any type of award imaginable. Also, she's lauded for putting together theatrical and elaborate tours. And she's striking with gorgeous golden locks and model-tall stature. But, she doesn't want to be remembered for that -- she really just wants to be known for treating people well.

Taylor Swift is nominated for a whopping six awards at the 2013 CMA Awards, and even if she doesn't nab any (which is almost impossible to foresee), she's ensured to go home with one -- the prestigious Pinnacle Award.

After much talk around beginning to write for her fifth album, Taylor Swift is finally making some headway. The blonde starlet is back in the studio writing some songs for her highly anticipated next album.

The 2013 American Country Awards nominees (aka the ACAs) have been announced, and it's Taylor Swift who is leading the charge and reigning supreme with a whopping eight nominations this year.

This 1920s home was renovated before one country music superstar picked it up in 2011. It was among her early real estate buys -- and there have been a number of others since! Perhaps she needed more than a few months to turn a profit on this nearly 5,000 square-foot property, however. She took a loss when she sold in the summer of 2011.

Ever since her early country music days of belting out 'Our Song,' Taylor Swift has sported shiny, long and very blonde locks. That's why it's especially fun to see her new look as a brunette for her role in 'The Giver.'

Taylor Swift has assembled an all-star "band" to join her when she performs at the 2013 CMA Awards on Nov. 6, and it's quite an impressive cast of musicians.
