In an effort to help stave off childhood obesity, McDonald’s announced Monday that its iconic Happy Meals are getting a healthy tune-up.
Traditionally, the meals included a burger or chicken nuggets, fries and a soda. But starting this fall, a fruit or vegetable will also be in the shiny box.

A giant McDonald's video billboard in Stockholm, Sweden is hosting a game of pong that just about anybody with a smart phone can join in, without having to download any new software.
Instead, potential players use their smart phone to log on to a website associated with the promotion. After the phone's geo-location device confirms you are close enough to the billboard, the phone's touch screen can be used to control the game.

Ronald McDonald Keeps His Job
May 20, 2011 Ronald McDonald is keeping his job. Despite pressure from a group known as Corporate Accountability International who paid for ads saying that Ronald was encouraging unhealthy eating habits and contributing to childhood obesity and related diseases such as diabetes, McDonalds CEO Jim Skinner says Ronald is staying and is “an ambassador of good” and pointed out that he is also the face of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The Australian mother demanded $1450 per-week to cover living expenses for herself and two children, including a $150 a week for blue jeans, $60 a week for McDonald's binging and $100 weekly for gifts.
