Thousands of motorcycles will converge on Fort Collins this weekend with the biggest motorcycle event in Colorado and it all benefits Realities for Children. And it gets even better this year because everyone who rides will be a part of something bigger than big.
If you own a motorcycle and want to ride in the official escort for the Vietnam Travelling Memorial Wall then Wednesday the 22nd is your day. I have also included a map of the route for those of you who want to see it come by.
Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson invites you and all your friends to come out for "Bike Night" tomorrow at The Hideout Patio Bar and Grill in Fort Collins. Live music along with drink/food specials, prizes and much more including a chance to win a brand new scoot at Thunder in the Rockies.
If you live in Greeley, Loveland, Eaton or Miliken I appreciate your town too. Oh, shoot, I appreciate all of northern Colorado. I live in Fort Collins and can't say enough good things about our 'little' town. What can you say about your town? I want to hear all the things that make it your town and why you love living there.
It's Friday and time for "Vickie's Corner." Vickie Downing is a good friend of mine I met through Journey 4 Justice in 2011 and I started this feature because not only is she a fantastic writer (get the Websters handy) but she loves our Constitution and takes their values very serious; regardless if she personally believes in them or not. This week is another great example of extruding common sense.
After a negative week of insults and ridicule, today we can see the positive side of things as a new Facebook page pays tribute to all the beautiful girls of Fort Collins. And in beautiful, I mean from the inside out, it isn't always about what you can see, some of the most beautiful people are standing right in front of you.
The 80's! What a great time for those of us who blossomed during one of the best decades ever. Hair bands, ET and things you wish never happened, like New Kids on the Block. Ya, I could have done without that!
