September 30, 2011 The 2011 CSU Homecoming Parade is this afternoon in downtown Fort Collins. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. on the corner of Oak Street and Howes Street and travels south on Howes through the historical Oval and the heart of campus. Watch for Good Morning Guy Todd Harding passing out candy to the crowd. The 2011 Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal is Colorado State University System Chancellor Joe Blake.

According to The Northern Colorado Business Report Colorado State University received a $10 million donation towards a new $69 million Engineering II building and breaks ground this afternoon. CSU civil engineering alumni Walter Scott Jr., a chairman of Level 3 Communications, made the generous donation.
