Stranded Teens Burn Snowmobile to Survive Blizzard
Keeping a radio station on the air during bad winter weather in Colorado can be a tall order. Our radio transmitter and tower are located on remote hilltops and moutainous terrain. Sometimes we have to use a snowmobile for the last few miles of the trek. That’s why hearing about these three teenagers who got stuck in a blizzard in Moffat County struck a chord with me.
