It seems like the bad news just keeps rolling in for sporting goods and Colorado based retailer Sports Authority.

The Denver Post has reported that Sports Authority will be closing their 200,000 square foot warehouse located at 50 S. Kalamath St in Denver, Colorado and cutting 72 jobs by April 29th.

A source who is familiar with the company's plans also told the Denver Post that a warehouse and distribution center in Illinois will also be closing. Bankruptcy seems to be nearing for Sports Authority. Missing a $21 million interest payment in January, in prior weeks past approximately 100 employees were laid off from the corporate headquarters and the announcement that 140 stores will be closing across the country. Three locations are in Colorado.
