Sleigh Riders Working On Another First For 2014 Summer Event

Who doesn't love a good parade! The Sleigh Riders love them and this Summer they plan on having another epic police escorted parade ride.  Don't miss this one.

Many of you have done the Christmas Sleigh Riders event since 2006.  A few years ago we added the 'Summer Series' event (click here for Facebook event page) which is a toy run and a poker run all rolled into one fun day/event.  The poker run pays out more cash than any other run I know of and your registration fees all go towards helping Santa Cops.

This year though we wanted to add a parade ride to start the event just like we do at Christmas.  If successful with permits etc., this years Sleigh Riders 'Summer Series' Poker/Toy Run will leave from Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson and the police escorted parade ride will end at the Windjammer at Carter Lake.

As always, a toy is REQUIRED to be in the parade ride; it is a toy run, even in June.  Since there is cash up for grabs for the top 3 spots on the poker run ($1000, $500 and $250) there is a registration fee.  If you sign up early, you get free breakfast, a free ride shirt and an extra raffle ticket.

This is an event like no other so tell all your friends from out of state especially...what better excuse to plan some vacation time and ride the Rockies on a 175 mile mountainous motorcycle ride.  Live music at the end, prizes and a ton of fun.
