Sleigh Riders ‘Summer Series’ Poker/Toy Run Coming Up This Sunday

If you're looking for something fun to do this Sunday come join the Sleigh Riders for an exciting day and some beautiful mountain scenery.  Who doesn't need a break from the heat and you could win part of $1750 in cash we're giving away!

The event sponsored in part by the John Elway Dealers starts off at Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson (4250 Byrd Dr.) off I-25 and Crossroads at 8:00 AM.  Single riders are $20 and rider/passenger is $30.  Raffle tickets are $5 or 5 for $20 but don't forget the toys.

This unique event is part poker run and part toy run so this is anything but ordinary.  For every toy you bring you will get a raffle ticket, just like on the Christmas run, to win some very valuable prizes.  The ride is 155 miles with stops in Lyons, Masonville and the Poudre Canyon and all vehicles are welcome.

The Sleigh Riders are a registered 501(c)3 so all donations, big or small, are 100% tax deductible and all goes towards college scholarships for Weld and Larimer county students.  Our idea as a group, which benefits Santa Cops, is to encompass these kids from birth to furthering their education in college.

If you're not familiar with a "poker run" all you do is go to 5 places, pick out a playing card (with wild cards) and the best hand of the day wins.  Easy.  And what a great excuse to get out and see some great country.  Best hand wins $1000 in cash, second wins $500 and third best hand of the day wins $250.
