A skateboarder collided with a deer on Lookout Mountain Road in the Colorado mountains during the Buffalo Bill Downhill race over the weekend.

A video shows the deer running across the road, colliding with the skateboarder and the two of them rolling into the trees and dirt on the side of the road.

The skateboarder is 17-year-old Ryan Vitale, of Salt Lake City. He walked away with serious scrapes, but no broken bones. The deer was OK.
