We all seem to get really excited about starting something. The beginning of something new gets us pumped up and lights our fire, but how long does it last? If you are at all like me you are a great starter and an okay finisher. I have vowed to get better at that. In fact I have decided you are going to hear less about what I am doing until it is done. We could all start doing this.

We are in a digital world where our sense of self importance is very inflated and we broadcast all of our little achievements from "I worked out today and am getting in shape" to "I am on day three of quitting this" or "I am thinking of organizing this or that". We need less cool ideas and more cool results. I believe we need to spend more time showing the world what we have done and less time telling the world what we are going to do. We can all talk a good game but can we play it? We have nothing to talk about or claim as a victory if we haven't actually played the game yet. Keep the ideas flowing and continue thinking of ways to make you and the world better but let the results been seen and felt not just heard.

Get out there today and actually get it done. Do something for the world today that makes it a better place and THEN show us what you have done. We can learn from and need examples. Let's get busy and show them what we can do so people stop and look and say "you DID that? Wow"
